Rosé Media was founded in 2009 by Sophie Pyle Zeigler, one of the leading experts in social media for small businesses in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area. While working as a walking social network as the D.C. Editor of Guest of a Guest, a popular society snapshot publication, she established herself as an authority on what's new, cool and interesting among young professionals and influencers in the District.
She named the company Rosé not only because it is her favorite drink, but also because her grandmother's maiden name is Rose.
Zeigler grew up in Arlington, Virginia, and now lives in Saint Michaels, MD with her husband and young son. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and a minor in Studio Art from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
