After two and a half years as the D.C. Editor of Guest of a Guest, Rosé Media founder Sophie Pyle knows how important good event photography is – and how important it is to turn those photos around quickly for guests. Event photography should be bold, beautiful, and serve as a wonderful way to bring others to an event who may not have been able to make it – or re-live it if you were in attendance. Pyle and her network of event photographers shot over 30,000 event photos each year.

Most recently, Pyle shadowed a makeup artist as he touched up stars backstage at an awards show that will air live on PBS in a week. The artist requested backstage photos, so Pyle shot the images that night and published the images to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter the following day.
